Rosie Harvey has had a long career in business involvement and ownership since 1972. Her first entrée into the business world was alongside a very successful shoe company business owner in Auckland which employed over 120 people over many years. Rosie decided to go into real estate sales in 1991, then progressed into management with a major franchise group in Auckland, and she went on to gain her AREINZ (licensee) qualifications in 1997.
Rosie moved to Taupo in 1997 and set up a Taupo Real Estate office in 1998 with the same franchise group alongside new business partners, and the office soon flourished with their fresh marketing approach. The Taupo office became the Top national office for this franchise by 2000 and went onto win many more office awards over the next few years. The Taupo office retained this accolade until 2010 when the office changed direction with its franchise brand.
The Taupo office joined the Harcourts Group in November 2011, an exciting move for the company as Harcourts are dominating the New Zealand real estate market, along with strong growth in Australia and many other cries of the world. Since 2003, when Rosie gained her Auctioneers licence, she has enjoyed calling auctions on a regular basis and really enjoys the interaction with home owners and buyers. Rosie feels her experience in this area is a useful addition to her "hands on" management style.
